Progressive Death Procedure

So I find myself reviewing a little record about which I can say very little negative. As a demo this has very good sound, so the average metalhead collector type would be pleased enough to own it, I think. It's a bit of deathy thrash - simple melodies under complex riffs and rhythms, and with growled and roared vocals. The songs are not particularly fast - along the lines of your average Megadeth tempos.
Again, this being a demo I am not sure what to write other than constructive criticism, and of that I have little for this band. They have written some good compositions, they play them professionally and have recorded them tightly. You can hear each instrument well enough, although the guitars are kind of washed. Hey, it's a demo.
It would be interesting to hear a real full on studio effort by this band. The areas I could see improving would be the level of intensity and perhaps a little more individualized songwriting. Occasionally the transitions don't mesh very well, but i would think a good producer could help the group get past that.
Bottom line: This is a good starting point for a good band. Although not terribly innovative they are very adept and seem to know what matters when writing and performing. Could be a band worth watching.
