While Stillborn aren't exactly on the cutting edge of BM/DM technology, they are well-endowed in the middle finger department. If you've ever sat through oldies-but-so-so's like "Die Fuckers" or "Infernal Goat Worship" from their previous outing, Manifiesto De Blasfemia, then you'll know that poetry is not their forte, nor is any kind of sense of mystique or hint of originality. But hey, if this is your thing, then get rich, player. You'll probably eat this shit up. Anyway, Stillborn live by the numbers. So I will, too.
1. Stillborn is comprised of four dudes dressing darkly, adorned in sharp things, putting on angry faces : )
2. Yes, there is something intriguing about Pols being fluent in Spanish album titles, which is why I'm here : P
3. Their logo has eleven upside-down crosses attached to it. Pretty tough ; )
4. This dime-per-one-thousand-million take on BM/DM will leave you with the sort of flatulence that only Behemoth's Thelema 6 or Azarath's Diabolic Impious Evil can situate and then top-off : ( ...but then... : )
5. I thought I heard them getting crispy there for a moment, in a Nifelheim kinda way. This was before I paid closer attention and then noticed that it was just Piledriver's "Sodomize The Dead" being Stillborned : ) ...but then... : (
6. This "album" is about twenty-five minutes long, and is dubbed a "tribute to unholy metal" : l
7. Satan would absolutely kill me if I dedicated only twenty-five minutes to him/her : O
8. Of nine tracks, one is an intro, four are originals, and four are Stillborn covering Running Wild ("Soldiers Of Hell"), Piledriver ("Sodomize The Dead"), Hellhammer ("The Third Of The Storms"), and Sarcofago ("NIghtmare") : )
9. The four covers are adequate, albeit boring, but still save this from itself. Unless Stillborn's low tide of torment is your absolute favorite thing, you should probably just go listen to the originals when you feel like wreaking havoc : (
10. The singer's name is "Killer" : X...(LOL)
Okay, so it took 221 days to get quality time here, but I can assure you that Esta Rebelion Es Temporario.
