Primitive, chest beating, dirty, simple, blackened war metal sent to Earth for one purpose (queue wavy distortion lines to signify flashback) :

The Cavemen lay lazily about the camp with sunken, beady eyes staring obtusely into the looming welkin. Suddenly, the dark, speckled sky burst wide with a CRACK and a fresh wound of pure light tore open in the heavens, flinging forth a massive, burning slag of detritus directly towards the soon to be panicked Paleolithic pack. The Cro-Magnon’s darted about in horrified indignation, scuttling to take cover as the molten meteor crashed horrendously to Earth. Furrowed, sloped brows slowly rose to awed dismay as a tremendous racket of deafening power suddenly rifled from the settling dust and billowing smoke. The cavemen snarled with curled lips and whipped about as blood began to burst from their tiny ears. Two strange beasts eventually pushed through the smoky veil to sonically lay waste to the ill-fated cave dwellers. The Cult of Daath had entered the Stone Age...

The fresh planet seemed to quiver with nervous, tectonic anticipation as the two fallen ones gathered their weapons, buckled down, and prepared to commit the task their hellish masters sent them to do – lay waste to the Simian Sons of Adam and trigger the cold death of a planet with a sustained Ice Age. The duo roared and slashed at their skin in ritualistic remembrance of those fallen warriors that bore the burden of such loathsome work in the past – Beherit, Hellhammer, Sodom and Blasphemy – all names chanted the accursed day these two let the Earth sample their blood.

The Cult of Daath began belching forth a steady barrage of primeval, meaty, guttural, black metal music in the form of their aged tome - The Grand Torturers of Hell - a ponderous offering perfectly fit for the grueling task at hand. The leathered flesh of attacking dinosaurs easily flayed from bone as the two ripped through fast, mauling assaults such as “Tyrant”, “Feasting Pits”, and the menacing “Terror Command”. Towering trees, fauna, and lush foliage fell beneath the trampling cavalcade of dinosaurs fleeing from tar-soaked, slower psalms such as “Summoning The Blood Red Moon”, and “Uphold The Oath of Evil”. And finally, the Cult summoned forth their glacial, crowning achievement, “Ritualistic Impurity”, thereby squelching all remaining life with a final tidal wave of freezing, fast tempos mixed with polar, plodding moments, leaving the planet in a final, petrified, arctic state.

Seeing their heinous task completed before them, the two played homage to their ancestors by summoning a song from the ages – Beherit’s “Sadomatic Rites”. As the hymn came to an end, the Earth opened wide its maw and swallowed the Cult of Daath deep into its core. Within the brief span of one half hour, the Earth once again lay frozen, dead and finally at peace.

The Grand Torturers of Hell: originally released by the defunct Warhammer Records in 2001, now thankfully re-released by the folks at Battlekommand Records - a worthy prize for those interested in roots based, raw, blackened Caveman metal.
