"They are Demons, sent to Earth to Lower the Standard" - Bill Hicks
I am not spending a lot of time on this one because it is exactly like every other modern American post hardcore/emo/melodic metal band out there right now. And frankly I am done wasting my time with these bands. So, here you go:
Well produced. Dual guitars. Rhythmically interesting. Screamy singing mixed with whiney singing. Absolutely the same songwriting as all the rest. Descendants meets Crumbsuckers. I am not at all exaggerating when I say I could be listening to ANY OF THE BANDS IN THIS GENRE. It's actually insane. Even at the very worst point in metal history: LA Glam, the bands each had a modicum of style. SOMETHING that set each one apart from the others. SOMETHING. With this style there is nothing. No thing. Not. One. Thing.
Bottom line...if you have heard any band that plays this style you have heard this one. Worse than numetal, worse than boybands, worse than pop “country“. It doesn’t need a review and it doesn’t deserve my creative invective.
