Review of Pissing Razors - Live in the Devil's Triangle

Pissing Razors is an awesome southern thrash band; they play a powerful brand of metal. This live album is a testament to their brutality, it really makes you feel as if you are part of the crowd. With a virtual cornucopia of kick ass 'Razors songs and some great live production, how can you go wrong? The thing that really struck me about this album was the live production. While not perfectly crisp and clean like Iron Maiden's Rock in Rio or Iced Earth's Alive in Athens, a live album really shouldn't be that clean. If you want something that clean, buy a greatest hits album, not a live album. This live album lets you really hear the crowd and the raw feel of everything that is Pissing Razors. You really get a sense of the awesome musicianship going on in this band. There is really no reason for any fan of brutal thrash, Pissing Razors, or live albums in general to not go out and pick this bad boy up. Why are you still reading this? Get your ass to the record store!!
